Atlas Roofing sees each roof as a new chapter in a home’s life.
Rob Godin and his crew listen carefully as you explain what your dream roof would look like, then try to meet it as closely as possible, using all the materials at their disposal. Whether it’s precisely matching a roof shingle color, or getting a form factor just right, they take pride in the custom options provided to their discerning clientele. Their goal is to build you the perfect roof–one that is long-lasting, cost-effective and customized to your exact specifications.
Roof styles vary greatly. The basic ones are asphalt shingle roofs. But there’s so much more! Wood shake roofs, tile roofs, metal roofs, and then all the synthetic or recycled materials that emulate these materials. Do you want the Mediterranean tile roof style, but would rather use recycled material? Or do you want the durability of a metal roof with the style and color of wood? Atlas can do that and more! Discuss some options.
The color of your roof can have a huge impact on the appearance of your home. Choosing a color that coordinates with your home’s paint and trim, that matches the landscape around your home, or that provides a ‘stand out’ aesthetic can greatly enhance the beauty and appeal of your house.
Here are some things to keep in mind:
- Choose a roofing material color that complements your home – It’s always a good idea to consider the color of your new roof first, then coordinate the rest of the house color scheme, including brick, stone, siding, trim, and gutters.
- Consider the house color, the trim color and the roof color in the same scheme.
- Choose a color to match the environment around the house – you may want to consider the prevailing colors around your house too. If you live in an arid climate, muted colors look nice, whereas if you live in a very moist place, bright colors can look better.
- Consider the local style – if you use locally-sourced materials you might find that the house just ‘fits in.’ Wood from the area or tiles manufactured nearby will add a certain local feeling to your home.
Did you know?
Did you know that the color of your roof can impact the energy consumption in your home? Light color roofs reflect more of the sun’s energy and keep cooling costs down in summer.
